Dumb and Dumber: A movie that never gets old

Pocket Review, Title Dumb And Dumber, Studio New Line Home Entertainment, Rating 3.5, Jim Carrey

Dumb And Dumber (1994)

Director: Bobby Farrelly

Pocket Review

Clip: So there's a chance!

This movie just makes me laugh. Usually, movies that feature juvenile humor begin to pale at some point, but Jim Carrey holds my attention as a completely oblivious, selfish idiot.

Jeff Daniels is a surprisingly adept foil for Carrey, and funny in his own right, but this is Carrey’s movie.

Dumb and Dumber is Jim Carrey’s masterpiece. He is often compared to Jerry Lewis, fairly so, with his plastic expressions and physical pliability. His movie The Mask was the best to show off Jim Carrey’s amazing physical comedy, but this movie allows for more of the sort of clowning that today only he can pull off.

My friends often quote from this movie.
